Banana Blueberry Smoothie recipe [easy!]
Add to a blender: *1 single serving cup of vanilla yogurt [I used Stonyfield Farm Fat Free, 6oz] *Then I use the same cup and fill it with frozen blueberries. I just buy them fresh and put the whole container in the freezer, usually when they're on sale. *Add one small banana. Blend all this on a low speed. *Add four or five ice cubes. Blend on a higher speed, like chop or pulverize. * I add a splash of Organic soy milk - you can use regular milk, though! - and blend until creamy. Put in a large glass and adorn with a blueberry or two and a colourful straw. DRINK UP. You can add honey if it isn't sweet enough, I guess. It's usually sweet enough for me, but it is easily adapted to your personal taste! This will also work well with any berry, like raspberries or strawberries. |
